As you know I have been a successful, internet based network marketer for a long time and I have seen a lot of “good things and bad things” come along claiming to help networkers achieve success using the internet.

Well … most of it was bad … really bad!   The information provided was awfully thin in how to make things work – and -many times the “tools provided” were nothing more than a thinly veiled recruiting pitch for the author’s primary company.

If you’re a network marketer or thinking of entering this amazing industry, you owe it to yourself to get the FREE EBOOK from this website.  It’s filled with very detailed, helpful and useful training materials that can help the new network markter get started the right way in the industry OR help an “old dog” learn some new tricks to revitalize their business.  This is good, solid, hard hitting and “straight shooting” information from an industry insider and network marketing leader with a long track record of success.

To learn more about this timely and unique FREE EBOOK and website, watch this video and then take the time to go to the website MLMVirus.com

On May 12th Google announced one of the biggest changes in the way that social networking is going to happen – thanks to their new service called Google Friend Connect.

This concept is taking all of the best components of social networking, the concept of web 2.0, and VIRAL marketing and integrating all of these components into one application.

I took some time to review Google’s site and within minutes I had a ton of ideas to take some of my old, static websites and turn them into vital, growing online COMMUNITIES with just one simple piece of code! There is NO programming whatsoever either.

Check out this video to see an example of this this program is going to change the way the web works.

Some other highlights and thoughts about Google Friend Connect:

  • It lets you grow traffic by easily adding social features to your website. With just a few snippets of code, you get more people engaging more deeply with your site.
  • Attract more visitors. Visitors bring along friends from social networks like Facebook, orkut, and others to interact on your site.
  • Enriches your site with social features. Choose engaging social features from a catalog of gadgets provided by Google and the OpenSocial developer community.
  • No programming whatsoever. Just copy and paste snippets of code into your site, and Google Friend Connect does the rest.
  • Google Friend Connect integrates with contact lists for social networks like Facebook, orkut and Google Talk. This means users who join your site are instantly connected with friends who are already members, and can invite friends from other networks to visit. They can opt in to broadcasting their activities to friends in their social networks. A post to your message board, for example, can instantly be visible to people in multiple social networks, along with links leading to your site. These instant networks, combined with the wealth of OpenSocial gadgets, can form potent new online communities, very quickly and very easily.
  • Friend Connect brings friends-of-friends to your site. There are two easy ways for members of your site to bring their friends:* Invitations. Clicking on the invite link presents your visitors with all their contacts and friends from their social networks. Invitations are delivered to friends within their respective social networks.

    * Activity feeds. Your visitors may also opt-in to publishing activities to their social networks. A post to your message board, for example, can instantly be visible to people in multiple social networks, along with links leading to your site.

Some quick examples of how to use Google Friend Connect

  • A cooking site – Review a recipe and provide comments which clarify or improve it. Add a recipe to a social recipe box that appears across multiple cooking sites.
  • A musician’s site – Post pictures from your latest concert on the band’s site, and communicate directly with your fans.
  • An extreme sports site – Play a motor cross game, then compare your score to friends and other site members.
  • An academic site – Discuss and review articles in context with colleagues and the broader community. Filter the discussion to colleagues only, or widen your view. Forge connections with new participants whose comments seem particularly insightful.
  • A shopping site – Read expert reviews and tips right next to the camera you’re thinking of buying, and find a friend who has already purchased the same item.
  • A philanthropic site – Cultivate a community around your cause, post pictures at fund raisers, let donors connect, and involve their friends.

There’s a lot of talk in the media about how the concept of telecommuting and home based business is changing the field of small business. Today, small businesses may be the corner store, a well-known franchise, a network marketing program housed in someone’s living room. A small home based business has the potential to completely transform your life, creating a freedom that is rarely found in any other type of business model.

Many people don’t realize that working outside the home encompasses a range of hassles and expenses that may take some time to unravel before the full cost can be seen. On the surface, the costs of working for someone else may not seem like much, but when added up, they make up a substantial amount of money.

The cost of buying career clothing, dry cleaning, and office accessories are just a few of the costs that add up over the course of months and years. There are also the substantial costs of childcare and transportation. Whether you’re driving to work each day or taking public transportation, either can be extremely expensive. It’s not unusual to spend thousands of dollars a year simply on transportation costs for commuting to and from work. Working at home eliminates these expenses, leaving more money in your pocket for the things you want and need.

In addition, childcare costs have been the subject of national debate for many years. The costs of high-quality childcare are soaring. For many people, those costs are simply more than their family can afford. And many people spend much of their job related income on child care costs alone.

A home business is a great a way to cut all of those costs, which can save the typical family thousands, or even tens of thousands of dollars a year. That money stays in the family, providing for their needs and making it possible to plan for the future, not to mention being able to spend more time with children and family.

Having fewer expenses makes your own income more profitable. Your money from a home business works for you more than money from a job outside the home because less of it has to be spent on simply maintaining that job. The income you have to make to sustain your lifestyle can be less, but will still go further because you keep more of it.

In a nutshell, many households may be earning less net income working for someone else in a typical job rather than having their own home based business.

Along with the positive financial aspects of running a home business, there are also many personal benefits. Working for a boss year after year can be demoralizing. The prospect of working without a boss is an exciting one for that reason.

A home business owner must be self reliant, and does not need a boss standing nearby giving orders. Deciding exactly how the business will be run will be up to the home business owner. This gives many entrepreneurs the kind of confidence they’ve craved throughout their lives. With no boss needed, your life is your own. There’s no time clock. There’s no scheduled lunch break. There’s no one to tell you how much you can earn. All of which help make a home business more rewarding in the long run.

Your life and future are then entirely up to you. Take a serious look at how a home business can help you save more money and make more money.
