Tips For Growing A Thriving Network Marketing Business

network marketingAs one of the inaugural articles for this website, I want to cover some basic but important tips covering some wide areas of home based business and network marketing.  In this article I want to cover some of the basic truths and tips about how anyone can build a successful network marketing business.

Look … let me be the first to say – do NOT let network marketing intimidate you!  Network Marketing (or MLM) is one of the very best ways that any average person can achieve above average income, with no ceiling, and no matter what your education or socio-economic status is. MLM could be one of the greatest methods of making money you could find!

But … many times people get caught up in what DOESN’T work in network marketing (or start using old style methods that do not work as well) to build a business.

Seriously … anyone can create quite a huge and thriving network marketing organization … which can result in huge incomes if you follow some simple, proven and easy steps!

Network Marketing – The Key Concepts

First … when choosing which company to work with for your network marketing venture, make sure that direct support from the company and from your upline support team is available!  This can be in the area of websites, marketing tools, training, support, webinars, phone calls  you name it.  But you have to get support from NOT just your mentor but from your COMPANY as well!

Yes, your network marketing mentor or recruiter can generally help solve many of your business issues, there will be times when you will have technical problem or questions with the product or service that only the company will be able to assist you with. In such cases, you want to be sure that the company can reliably and quickly assist you.

AND the more company tools, company websites and company training is provided, the faster your team will duplicate and grow – thus putting more money in your pocket.  Do NOT just depend on the upline leadership team to provide this.  Make sure the network marketing COMPANY provides the highest level of support possible PERIOD!

Personal improvement guides can be valuable resources for your network marketing success. Your success will depend on your ability to motivate others, and actively promote your product. How successfully you can do these things will in turn depend on your level of positive energy, and how much of that energy you can share. Improving your inner self will definitely improve your success.

Lead generation is an integral part of any successful network marketing venture. The best way to organically generate leads is to have a strong social network in the communities relevant to your products. A good strategy you can employ is to try to get to know your customers on a more personal level. You should check in to make sure that the customer is successful with your product and offer support when you can. The customer will be more willing to refer you to his contacts, and your social network will naturally begin to grow. In many cases, your customers can even become your prospects.

Yes, I’m best known for using the internet to grow massive network marketing organizations that span the globe.  BUT this technology was to do one thing – help build RELATIONSHIPS with customers and with prospects and my team.  You can and should use high tech to help your high touch business!   Just depending on the internet and “hiding behind” the keyboard or computer and never dealing with actual people does NOT work for the long term.   Yes, we use the internet to bring interested people TO us … but as soon as we do that we MUST as the personal and local touch since this is a PEOPLE business!

Another key component of real, long lasting success in the network marketing industry … is asking yourself if helping motivated people become successful leaders is something you want to do.  Look, there are millions of people that want a way out of their economic situation, and network marketing can provide that – YOU can provide that with your company.  Once you understand that you ARE helping people get out of the “rat race” and being their “life line” and your job is to be there showing them how to use the company tools, team support and systems to grow their business – your business success will go off the charts!

Bottom line?   Understand a LARGE part of your success will be dependent on not only your capability to succeed but also on your ability to HELP OTHERS in your team become successful leaders themselves.

Now these are just two of the thoughts I have for you this time, but in my opinion, they are two REALLY important points!  If you take this information to heart and really internalize this information as part of your network marketing journey, you will be light years ahead of the thousands of network marketers that just think this is just some get rich quick deal and en up failing!

When you start to understand and implement these points (and the other points to come on this website) you’ll start to see your business grow with positive results that simply can’t be ignored.

How do I know this?  Because when I did it, I went from a struggling MLMer to becoming a top distributor with top teams in three different companies in 23 years.  Does it work?  It sure does, but if you realize that you are part of a great industry, and if you tie into a good company with good tools, good support … and REALIZE that you are helping people by showing them a method and system to help themselves.  THEN your success in the network marketing industry can’t be stopped!
